Ethyl Sulfate(EtS): a new direct marker of alcohol consumption
Determination of EtS in urine by LC-MS/MS
EtS has been detected as a new direct marker for alcohol consumption besides ethylglucuronide. Quantitative analysis
has been performed by LC-MS/MS and can be used for confirmation of EtG-positive samples. In a minor number of cases EtS
was not present although EtG was detectable in low amounts - and vice versa.
